Jeevan Jyoti Convent School had a humble beginning. It started non formal education by Jeevan Jyoti Social Center. At the request of local people Sr. Consielia put a suggestion to the Provincial Administration to start a formal English medium school. On 2 April 2012, with 48 students we commenced the school with the motto “Lighted for Life.” The aim of Jeevan Jyoti Convent School is total formation of young children by giving them education which is morally, mentally & spiritually sound. As the society is deprived of the education of the girls.
As the girls education is deprived by the society. We give priority for girl child. School is situated in the Khairabad village where the parents are not educated & also not aware of the importance of education. Ever since its inception the school has been striving on giving value based, emotionalized education which the world need today. The present strength of the school is 801. We have 41 dedicated staff. Our students are excelling in the myriad events that took place at different levels whether it is literary, cultural or sports.
Starting the academic session timely, maintaining finance & providing salary to the staff are the challenges we face as monthly fees are not yet received. Many children from the marginalized families may drop out of school because of the financial problem. In this crisis, our school is trying to cater education to the students through digital learning. All the same the digital learning is not reached to all section of the society as people who are in remote or rural are facing network problem.
We are helping many of the poor people by giving concession in the fee. We extent our help by teaching slow learners and poor students specially those students who don’t have android phone (at present situation) keeping the covid-19 safety norms.
